Chart Success: "Cold Feet" has made it to #9 on Canada Country iTunes Singles Chart and in the top 100 (#99) all genres

A story song about choosing between your head and your heart. What would you do?

A gentle light acoustic, delicate piano and soft percussion underscores this deliciously dreamy number from the get-go.

Tenille compares her new single Cold Feet as “like a Nicholas Sparks book in a song”. Several of his romantic novels (Amazon) have become number one New York Times bestsellers. If there was any justice then the CANCON songstress’ new single should also become a hit!

This beautiful, graceful, and stylish ballad gentle stirs the emotional pot on this cinematic track where a church wedding day dawns. Bridesmaid dresses are hanging, flowers have been ordered and a starry-eyed honeymoon awaits with Mister Perfect, or does it?
Out of a blue the bride to be receives a letter from a former love-torn lover persuading her to meet at a favourite beauty spot.

But you should be happily wrapped up with me
It's took me to write down what I finally see
So why don't you meet me one night
In our old spot down by the creek
If you've got cold.. feet

The music, interspersed with laced faint steel, creates a slow motion of pure dreamy smoothness perfectly complimenting Tenille's gorgeous spell-weaving vocal tone. The song leaves the necessary pauses and wide-open spaces between both the notes and the words as the bride to be ponders what direction is best to take.

Instead of being swathed in the comfort of her home dreaming of her special day it finds her out on a rainy late-night sidewalk with doubt cast in a troubled mind.

Here she is walking back home after midnight
Trying to breath
With cold..feet

What should she do? We think she should go with what her heart is saying rather than her mind when that hard-to-pin-down life decision is involved. Let Tennille know on her Facebook video what you think.

Whatever the outcome we love the beautiful texture of this track. Pure Bliss!

Biography
Tenille Arts is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

At the age of 8, a neighbour overheard her singing in the backyard and encouraged her to pursue music. This encounter helped lead Tenille to vocal lessons, piano lessons, and dance training. She wrote her first song at 13, and has performed shows all over Canada since then.

Tenille made her first trip to Nashville when she was 15 to pursue a music opportunity she had been offered. While gaining some valuable experience she returned to Canada to continue writing, performing, and finish high school.
On one of her return trips to Nashville in 2014, she was introduced to industry veterans Adam Wheeler and Matt Rovey
Wheeler's publisher, Hal Oven, was also very impressed with Tenille. In 2015, he signed her to a publishing deal at Noble Vision Music Group, allowing her to make the move to Nashville and pursue her career full time.

In 2015, Tenille supported one of her favourite causes with a benefit single. It was a special song because it was written by Matt Scales, a victim of Cystic Fibrosis. Tenille became interested in being an ambassador for CF when she was a dance teacher and one of her 6-year old students had the disease. Tenille recorded the song "Breathe" (UK iTunes) as a fundraiser for CF Canada, who received 100% of the proceeds. The song released April 14, 2015 peaked at #6 on the iTunes Canada Country chart.

The 2016 SCMA Emerging Artist Award winner has performed on some of Canada's biggest stages including the Craven Country Jamboree, the Boots and Hearts Festival, and at the Bluebird Café and the Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival in Nashville, Tennessee.
She has over 680,000 views on her YouTube channel and over 5,100 subscribers.
Her first single “Breathe” for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, went to #6 on the Country iTunes chart.
Tenille signed a publishing deal and moved to Nashville in 2015.
Tenille made her mark in the country music industry by representing Saskatchewan in the 2015 CCMA Spotlight Performance Contest, performing in the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase.
Currently living in Nashville, TN, Tenille has big plans ahead!

In late March 2016, she was chosen as a top 6 finalist in the CCMA Discovery Program * and performed at the CCMA Discovery Program Showcase in September last year in London, Ontario. In 2013, the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) introduced the CCMA Discovery Program (PDF), a national initiative, developed to educate and support artists in their pursuit of a career in the country music industry.
