With David Nail’s The Sound of A Million Dreams being the major new release of the week it didn't trouble the top 5 positions over the past few weeks allowing Mr Scotty McCreery’s album to return to #1 on the Billboard Country Chart with a #13 place on the Top 200 Album chart. His album officially scanned gold this week (499626 sales) and could be heading for a  Platinum album status for CLEAR AS DAY as it is one of many of what are called Doorbuster CDs on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving in the USA).

Lady Antebellum’s OWN THE NIGHT  has breezed past the 800k scanned mark with 814,208 fans taking it home and should certainly gain certified platinum sales by the end of holiday gift-giving season.

Miranda Lambert passed the 200,000 sold mark ( 214,688) in just three weeks with FOUR THE RECORD while Luke Bryan’s (468745 copies) inching ever so closely to scanning Gold, with Tailgates & Tanlines,

Jason Aldean is the #5 Top country album this week as he, too, has bypassed a sales mark (2,023845 copies) recently as the album with “Tattoos On This Town,” “My Kinda Party” “Don’t You Wanna Stay” and “Dirt Road Anthem” has pleased over over 2,000,000 fans.

Thanks to a viral hit in "Red Solo Cup", currently the biggest selling country digital single,  Toby Keith has a lot to be thankful for this year as his latest album CLANCY'S TAVERN has two solid hits on it.

CMA big winners  The Band Perry on  860224 copies sold have an outside chance of getting past the 1,000,000 scanned mark this holiday season with their self-titled debut album (which features “All Your Life,” the triple platinum “If I Die Young,” and “You Lie”).

David Nail debuts at #8 on the country chart (#44 Top 200 SoundScan)  this week with  THE SOUND OF A MILLION DREAMS . The album sold 13,376 copies to give him a right to be happy about reaching fans as his lead single “Let It Rain” is a Top 10 hit on nearly all major country radio charts this week.

Taylor Swift’s Speak Now continues to sell well while she just released the Speak Now: World Tour Live” CD/DVD set that is expected to bow at #1 on this chart next week.

Eric Church rounds out the Top 10 this week with his third album Chief.

Blake Shelton with (405689 ) has sold over 400,000 copies of Red River Blue.
With sales of 246745 George Strait’s about halfway to a Gold Record but like McCreery, he has a Doorbuster this holiday shopping season with Here For A Good Time and a shot  at hitting the Gold sales mark.
Lauren Alaina’s “Wildflower” has now sold 145,000 copies (144766) as her fun new single “Georgia Peaches” moves up the charts.  Her album has sold more than Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox’s Idol albums from last year.

Brantley Gilbert has now sold over 300,000 copies of Halfway to HeavenThe Civil Wars have now sold over 211,000 copies of future Grammy nominee Barton Hollow.

With the Holiday season fast approaching fans are checking out the Christmas racks with Taylor Swift making the biggest gains of the Catalog albums with sales of 7556 copies. Such is the popularity of Martina McBride's WHITE CHRISTMAS album it has with 6920 copies this week remarkably sold more than her latest album ELEVEN at 6441 copies!

Brantley Gilbert moves up 2 places to  top of the Billboard Country Songs chart with Country Must Be Country” as he celebrates his  first chart topper. The song is the lead off  from Brantley's sophomore album "Halfway to Heaven Deluxe," which made it’s debut on Sept 21, 2011  with a second place on the Billboard Country Albums chart.  The album was originally a release for Average Joes Entertainment in 2010, then The Valory Music re-issued it with a Deluxe Edition featuring a remixed album and re-recorded version of the now #1 hit “Country Must Be Country Wide” along with three other new tracks produced by Dann Huff.

Of his success Brantley said - "This is and will always be one of the proudest moments of my life. I've only dreamed of this, and now it's really happening. I am always amazed by how many fans come out to our shows. To see the fans combined with Country Radio earn me and the band a number one song, it's just unbelievable. I am so incredibly thankful."  [[ Watch on YouTube ]]
