What a week it was for Miranda Lambert having a birthday, winning Female Vocalist at the CMA Awards and with 133,000 copies of Four The Record, to land third on the all genre, SoundScan Top 200 Albums chart, behind only Justin Bieber and rapper Wale but ahead of holiday season sales juggernaut Susan Boyle.
On the feat Lambert said, “Ok, that’s crazy! When you start out you want to blaze your own trail and set your goals and I always worry about living up to the standard I set for myself. But I hope it says to every artist who is starting out that if you really go with your heart and stick to your guns and feel okay with exercising your creative license, it will all end up great because you are doing what you believe in.”

With Toby Keith’s album selling half of what it sold its first week, last week, Scotty McCreery’s Clear As Day remained the #2 selling country album and it should end up scanning gold in the next two weeks after his first CMA showing he should benefit from a post CMA Awards bump (as will most artists performing on the show or winning awards)
Toby Keith is third on the Country album chart  he’s now sold 101,000 copies of Clancy’s Tavern while the song “Red Solo Cup” gaining huge sucess as the digital single has  over 100,000 sales.

Lady Antebellum with “Own The Night” has been certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million units (shipped) just four weeks after its release. The group has now sold a career total of seven million albums worldwide.
Member Dave Haywood said, “It's been a dizzying and exciting few months launching this album, but it's also really energizing to see how the fans are reacting to some of the songs on our new record. The reaction both in the STATES and overseas has been a huge confidence booster as we are getting ready to launch our first big arena tour this FRIDAY. We couldn't be more excited to get back out on the road!"

With nearly a half-million copies sold, CMA Nominated Luke Bryan’s third album Tailgates & Tanlines is about to join his sophomore album Doin’ My Thing as a seller of 500,000 copies.

Lauren Alaina is 7th on the chart with her album Wildflower and  she continues to have hit singles (“Georgia Peaches” is on the charts) and selling albums, she may very well be a nominee for Best New Artist next year and surely Scotty McCreery is a racing certainty to gain a nomination with all his success!

Martina McBride’s Republic Nashville debut, Eleven has sold nearly 80,000 copies in 4 weeks and her single “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” is rising the charts after a slow initial start.
Eric Church has now sold nearly 420,000 copies of the already Gold-certifed Chief  and Blake Shelton’s #14 on the Country chart is approaching 400,000 for his latest album Red River Blue.
Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music with his CMA host build-up apearances had a 24% sales increase.
